2025 Operating Engineers 324 Retiree Club Walleye Tournament

Tournament Rules
Team purchase of $125 covers the boat and the first two anglers, additional anglers are $45 per angler.
Minimum two anglers per team. No single angler teams allowed. 4 anglers per boat maximum.
No line restrictions, but all participants must follow DNR Guidelines.
Shore fishing is allowed, but must still be registered as a team.
Any angler is allowed to enter the tournament, HOWEVER there must be at least ONE Operating Engineers Local 324 member per boat. The OE member does not have to own the boat.
Tournament open to all legal fishing waters (some waters closed to Walleye fishing on April 19th, please know DNR guidelines.)
Must fish on calendar day of April 19th, 2025 (fishing allowed after 12am) No fish caught on days previous may be weighed.
Weigh-in will be at Detroit Office, 1550 Howard Street Detroit, Michigan 48216 at 1:30- 3pm. 3lb per bag deduction for anyone arriving at weigh-in after 3pm. No Fish Accepted after 4pm.
May have a legal limit of fish in LiveWell and weigh up to 5 fish. Prizes will be awarded to top teams. The Goal is to have prizes for the Top 5 teams, and big fish. but payout will be dependent on Participation. (ALL fish will be donated for the fish fry following the tournament, other legal fish caught may also be donated for fish fry. We encourage extra fish to be donated to ensure quantity.)
Any participant under the age of 18 not fishing on the same boat as parent or legal guardian, must have written and signed permission from legal guardian, please send signed waiver / permission slip in with tournament registration.
Sportsmanship: Any attempt at cheating, or being un-sportsman like will result in disqualification, and potential removal from all future events.
All Coast Guard and DNR regulations must be strictly followed. If it is found that any safety, or game laws have been broken, it will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament, and future events.
Due to volunteer schedules and planning. Event will not be rescheduled, if weather restricts fishing.
