Free Safety Training and Certification from Wayne State University

Free Safety Training and Certification from Wayne State University

Under multiple grants from Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Michigan Occupational Safety & Health Administration (MIOSHA), Wayne State University is pleased to offer and provide safety training FREE OF CHARGE to employers and employees.  These training grants cover Excavation and Trenching Safety and Respirable Crystalline Silica Safety – two of the leading causes of short and long-term trauma in the construction industry.

We offer multiple training formats; traditional (in-class) and online in English and Spanish. For traditional trainings, we can come to your worksite or office to deliver our training for distances allowing us to return to Detroit on the same day. Each training takes approximately 3-hours. You can also take the training online directly by visiting your site(s) of choice below and receive a certificate after completing the training.
